The 19th CISM-IFToMM RoManSy Symposium (ROMANSY2012) will be held in Paris on June 12-14, 2012 at UPMC-Sorbone University. RoManSy Symposia have played a central role in the development of the theory and practice of robotics and the coming event will extend this tradition by bringing together active researchers from around the world for presentations and discussions on their contributions to the domain of : Design and Control of Dynamic Robotic Systems for Complex Interactions The 2012 RoManSy Symposium is organized in the format of a single track oral presentations and multimedia sessions. It focuses on a selected number of technical areas in the field of Robotics including: Kinematic and dynamic modeling and analysis of robotic systems Mechanical and mechatronic innovative designs Design methods and tools Advanced control techniques Sensors and actuators Interaction modeling and control Perception for reactive behaviors Bio-inspired design and control For more information: RoManSy 2012

CISM Short Courses are currently part of Doctoral programmes in a number of European Universities and Higher Education Institutes.

Upon agreement between CISM representatives, course coordinators and the director of the specific doctoral school, short courses can award credits for doctoral programmes.
