CISM Rector Professor Alfredo Soldati has received the 2018 Panetti Ferrari Prize by the Academy of Sciences of Turin.
The Panetti Ferrari Prize is awarded to a distinguished scientist in the field of applied mechanics.
He received the prize for his “... internationally recognized high level production, in particular for his scientific contributions to Fluid Mechanics and the multi-phase turbulent flows. These studies have had wide international resonance and have earned him the award, for the first time to an Italian, of the Robert T. Knapp Award given to him by ASME in 2007”
